The Future Leaders Program is an innovative initiative launched for the 2025-2026 operational year, aimed at addressing the growing disparity in financial accessibility.
Our Mission
At Brampton FBLC, JEC & TA, we are committed to making extracurricular activities accessible to all; however, many activities incur fees. To ensure equitable access, we are allocating a significant portion of our annual budget to support members who exhibit exceptional merit and financial need. This investment is designed to empower them to become future business leaders.
The Process
Prospective participants will undergo a comprehensive application process, with all submissions evaluated by an independent committee chaired by our club advisor and comprising of adult specialists.
Bursaries
Travel and Accommodations Bursary
The New Horizons Bursary is designed to offer a one-time financial award to recipients, specifically aimed at offsetting the costs associated with transportation, meals, and any requisite accommodations. This bursary is particularly intended for individuals participating in business competitions such as the Canadian National Leadership Conference (CNLC). By alleviating these financial burdens, the bursary enables participants to focus on their competitive endeavors without the distraction of logistical concerns.
AI Business Bursary
The Next Gen AI Bursary provides a unique financial grant designed to empower emerging business leaders with cutting-edge artificial intelligence capabilities. Recipients of this bursary will receive a one-time payment intended to alleviate the financial burden associated with subscribing to AI services. This initiative ensures that our beneficiaries are equipped with the robust support of AI technology, thereby enhancing their competitive edge in the increasingly competitive business landscape.
Formal Wear Grant
The Dress for Success Bursary offers a singular financial grant specifically designed to offset the substantial expenses incurred in obtaining professional business attire. Academic Supplies Bursary
The Scholar's Kit Bursary provides a unique financial award for eligible recipients, intended to alleviate the financial burden associated with various academic-related expenses.
